2. USG Diversity Affairs and Sigma Nu Bone Marrow Drive
Monday November 16, 2009; McCarthy Quad near Birnkrant; 10am-4pm
November is National Morrow Awareness Month, and the National Morrow Donor Program (NMDP), a non-profit organization dedicated to making transplants possible for every racial and ethnic community, is organizing the Bone Marrow Drive with USG and Sigma Nu. The purpose of this event is to increase participation in the NMDP as well as to get the word out to the community: Bone Marrow had everything to do with race.
