This is a fun two unit class which is a combination of lecture and attendance to plays, musicals and opera. This semester we will be attending the following productions.
- The Broadway musical WEST SIDE STORY at the Pantages Theatre
- The new opera IL POSTINO with Placido Domingo at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion
- The new musical by Randy Newman HARPS AND ANGELS at the Mark Taper Forum
- The new production of GLASS MENAGERIE at the Mark Taper Forum
- VENUS at the Bing Theatre
- TOO CLEVER BY HALF at the Bing Theatre
- The opera presented by the THORNTON SCHOOL OF MUSIC at the Bing Theatre
Lecture meetings for this class are several Mondays during the semester starting at 2:00 PM
This is a fun class which can be taken for credit, Pass/No Pass or audit.
