The Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) will help place students in paid internships within federal government agencies in DC, California, Oregon, Washington, as well as other locations nationwide. Most internships will be in DC and last year, 11 interns were placed. CAPAL will also be offering two $2,000 scholarships for individuals working in unpaid public service internships (nonprofit/government) this summer in Washington, DC. Requirements: Demonstrated commitment to public service, including service to the Asian Pacific American community; GPA of 3.0 or higher
Location: Washington, DC, California, Oregon, Washington, and additional locations nationwide.
Compensation: $2,000 stipend
