Interested in Asian pop culture? Want to develop your communication skills?

USC is now home to Asia Pacific Arts, the popular and influential web magazine. It is published by the USC US-China Institute in cooperation with the East Asian Studies Center and the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism.

APA began in 2003 and has hundreds of thousands of readers worldwide. APA covers it all, from films, music, and art to TV dramas, manga, and video games. It offers readers feature articles, interviews, reviews, video stories, and trend-spotting pieces. Students in all disciplines are invited to join the APA team to deepen their knowledge of Asian and Asian American pop culture and to develop strong journalistic skills. Writers, videographers, and multimedia specialists are all needed.

You can see APA’s past at www.asiaarts.ucla.edu and we hope you’ll want to be part of APA’s future. If you want to gain hands-on experience reporting on exciting artists and artistic trends, please join us at one of our information sessions:
