Haven’t lined up your summer plans yet? Why not spend the summer traveling through Europe, earning elective course credit and expanding your knowledge of international media practices? Apply to be a part of Annenberg’s 39th annual International Communication Studies (ICS) program and experience all that London, Paris, Rome, and Prague have to offer. While abroad, you will travel with a group of distinguished students and faculty members, learn the ins and outs of global media, and brush shoulders with top executives from multinational organizations like the BBC World Service, International Herald Tribune, UNESCO, and the Czech Foreign Ministry.
This program is open to all USC majors. All students with a passion for global media and European culture with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and minimum sophomore standing are encouraged to apply. Accepted students will enroll in JOUR 482 (4 units) and spend a week of study in Los Angeles, supplemented by four further weeks of exploration throughout Europe. Program dates are June 7 – July 10, 2010.
