Want to do something, fun, amazing and meaningful with your Winter break this year? Want class credit for it? Interested in Global Health? Development? Nutrition? Africa? Agriculture? Women's Studies? Want to practice your French? Want to see the largest mud structure in the world?
Join USC Africa Health Initiative on its second trip to a small village in Mali, West Africa! We will be travelling to Mali over winter break (December 17th to January 9th) to help the town of Sikoro construct a desperately needed bridge, which will allow them access to a medical clinic, school and market.
We will also be working with the women's association to create a literacy project, learning the local language, Bambara, and throwing a New Year's Eve bash for the village!
Join us for your chance to experience rural African life and participate in a project that was specifically requested by the village itself!
Apply online at www.uscahi.com!
Just click "Application." There, you can also see photos from the village and videos about why the bridge is important. Applications are due by September 3rd!
